Vandalizing ATV trails doesn’t do any good for anybody using them.
That’s the message from Renfrew County ATV Club President Teresa Hebb, who says the club has dealt with some vandalizing issues on trails which includes some trail signs being stolen.
She also says that in many cases people with equipment too big for trails can ruin them for everyday riders. She says it’s important to remember that not all trails are publicly owned, as a lot of stretches are located on private property.
Hebb says it’s important to take care of the trails to leave a good, lasting impression of visiting riders who may not see the trails year round.
