Police are investigating a drowning at Owl Rafting in Whitewater Region.
Renfrew OPP, paramedics and firefighters responded to the call on Friday around 6:30pm after reports of a swimmer going underwater. The man was located and pulled to shore before being transported to hospital.
Police say the man was pronounced dead a short time afterwards. The man has been identified as 22-year-old Charles Ozulumba of Markham. Police say a post-mortem will be conducted but don’t suspect foul play was involved.
