Driver charged following OPP stop in Bonnechere Valley

A Bonnechere Valley man is facing a charge after being stopped by police on Highway 41.

The Killaloe OPP says an officer stopped the vehicle during a R.I.D.E. check in the Bonnechere Valley early Saturday morning.  Police say a small amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle.  A 30-year-old man is facing a charge of having a controlled substance.  He was released and has a court date.
