Killaloe OPP say they’ve nabbed a motorist going 189 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, January 27th on an SUV in South Algonquin Township on Highway 60. Police have charged a 36-year-old driver from the United Kingdom with stunt driving and issued a summons to the Court of Justice in Killaloe. Both vehicle and licence were seized, with the vehicle impounded for 14 days and the licence suspended for 30.
Police remind drivers that they target speeders, stunt drivers and other aggressive driving as part of their commitment to keeping roads safe.
