CO Blitz looking to make a comeback this year

Another major event in Madawaska Valley is hoping to resume this year after a break.

The Combermere Recreation Committee is looking to hold CO Blitz on July 31st this year. Organizers say the event has been held for many decades and is of historical importance to Combermere. They plan to include local musicians, events for kids, a classic car show, a horseshoe tournament, a beer tent and barbeque.

In their most recent meeting, Madawaska Valley council has agreed to make an in-kind donation. They have also deemed the event as significant to the municipality.
