With a new term of municipal government just starting, the Barry’s Bay BIA has a new look.
The Business Improvement Association elected nine new members at its Annual General Meeting earlier this week. The three returning members are Neil O’Reilly, Debbie Marshall and Marcia Rutledge.
The BIA elects new members every four years, in tandem with the election cycle.
It’s funded by a tax levy from commercial property owners and in the past it has worked on projects to beautify the downtown.
Long-time members Derek Yuill, Ted Williamson and Val Manion have stepped down as board members.
