Connor Bunn will be the new communications officer for the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB).
Bunn has been working since October of 2023 as the Digital Communications Specialist for RCDSB.
He holds a postgraduate certificate in Digital Media Marketing from George Brown College and a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Ottawa.
According to the news release, Bunn comes from a family of educators and is a ‘strong advocate for the importance of public education.’
A communications officer is someone who works with an organization to make sure information is communicated well and in a timely manner to the public.
Renfrew school board say they use several forms of communication to reach out to students, parents and guardians, including press releases, social media (twitter, facebook and instagram) distributing information to schools and electronic signs.
