That’s the message organizers behind an upcoming International Overdose Awareness Day event in Bancroft are trying to send.
It’s taking place next Wednesday and being hosted by the Bancroft Family Health Team.
There will be discussion about overdose education and Naloxone, a medication used to reverse or reduce the effects of opioids.
It’s taking place at the team’s office from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and all are welcome.
