Calling all history and train buffs.
The Opeongo Senior’s Centre and Madawaska Valley Public Library are hosting a free evening with author Jamie Bramburger at the senior’s centre in Barry’s Bay on Thursday night.
He will be speaking about his book Sudden Impact: The Almonte Train Wreck of 1942.
It all gets started at 7 p.m.
The event is a lead up to Saturday’s Train Day at the centre hosted by the Station Keepers.
