Crowe Valley Concerned Over Water Consumption and Lack of Rain

Some communities in the area are asked to be more conscious of water consumption.

The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority has made the request after declaring a Low Water Level One condition in the area.

Our local conservation authority says the precipitation in the area has been less than the historical three month average.

Ways we can reduce our water use include not watering our lawns, fixing leaky faucets, taking shorter showers, and not washing our cars and driveways.

Low Water Conditions have three levels, and our region is only being affected the lowest warning level.

Quinte Conservation has issued a Low Water Level Three for communities in its region.
