Over 30 competitors, some international will be going head-to-head today at the MKC annual Slalom Races.
One-man and two-man kayaks will be riding up and down the Chalet Rapids of the Madawaska River with first heats set to start at 11:00am.
The finals are set later in the afternoon with seconds heats slated for 2:00pm and award ceremonies at 5:00pm.
It’s possible some of the participants will be competing in the Canadian Championships in Jonquiere, Quebec later this month.
