If you are looking for some extra ice time over the holidays, you can head to the Paul J. Yakabuskie Arena, in Barrys Bay.

Madawaska Valley Township are hosting some free ‘bonus’ public skates at the arena.

On New Years Eve, they say they’ll also be trying something new: A Public Skating ‘shinny edition.’

The skate is a chance for all ages and skill levels to engage in cooperative shinny game play.
