Bancroft OPP seize large amount of heavy drugs, cash

Bancroft OPP have seized $50,000 worth of drugs and cash from a home in Bancroft.

OPP say they found more than 100 grams of fentanyl, along with smaller quantities of cocaine, meth, heroin and oxycodone pills.

Police went to a residence on Dec. 20 to retrieve medication for a person in police custody.

While there, they found an individual wanted by police. After his arrest, they found the drugs, and $2,000 in cash.

A 33-year-old faces numerous charges including several counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
