Students and families at Madawaska Valley District School managed to gather enough food for two flatbed carts for the Madawaska Valley Food Bank.
School officials said the bingo event was for a good cause and brought students and staff together. They also thanked local businesses and individuals for their contributions.
They also raised $400.
The school also recently held their turkey lunch, with 13 turkeys to feed guests.
