Paugh Lake Road Remains Closed Until Further Notice

Paugh Lake Road continues to be closed until further notice according to Madawaska Valley’s Public Works.

The road was closed on Tuesday afternoon following widespread flooding which is the culprit behind other road closures in the area.

Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkoskie says a broken beaver dam is likely behind the flooding, common-place this time of year.

Some flooding has also been reported on Peplinski Homestead Road.
