Thaw Flooding Keeps Roads Closed

Paugh Lake Road between Wilno North and Basin Depot Road is still closed and more flooding has been reported in the area.

The Killaloe OPP says lane restrictions are in place on Upper Rosenthal Road in Palmer Rapids between Jewelville and Guiney roads.

Madawaska Valley’s Public Works is asking residents to use caution on unpaved back-roads as the ground is saturated from the thaw and recent rain.

If you do notice flooding, a damaged or compromised roadway you can contact your municipality directly or report it to local police.

Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkoskie says the section Paugh Lake Road will be closed until further notice.
