Health Unit Names Interim Medical Officer of Health

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit says Doctor Robert Cushman has taken the reins as its Interim Medical Officer of Health.

Cushman has experience as a Senior Medical Advisor to Health Canada, was Ottawa’s former Medical Officer of Health and served as the Champlain LHIN’s first CEO.

Killaloe’s mayor and chair of the Board of Health Janice Visneskie Moore says she’s looking forward to working with Cushman in the coming months.
