Signs to Combat Distracted Driving Going Up Across the County

Municipalities in Renfrew County will be receiving new signs to help combat distracted driving as part of a broader campaign.

The Renfrew County Partners Against Distracted Driving is helping to head up the campaign along with the support of the Ministry of Transportation, local schools, the county’s health unit and police.

County schools were treated to presentations from the OPP and were put in the driver seats as part of distracted driving simulators last fall.
