As Canada Road Safety Week Wraps up for the Killaloe OPP, it’s reminding motorcycle riders to keep safety in mind as the weather and riding conditions improve.

Police say in OPP patrolled roads more than half of motorcycle riders killed in crashes were not at fault.

More than half of those deaths were caused by impaired driving.

Police say it’s important for riders to have proper safety equipment while on the road and to be cautious on rural roads as incidents with wildlife have increased.
