North Hastings High School waves goodbye to graduating class of 2017

Ninety students have graduated from North Hastings High School this year.

Teacher Douglas Isaak says Shannon Norris was named the school’s valedictorian.

Jessica Ritter received the Clarke Gaebel Insurance Memorial Award for having an over 98 per cent average, the highest during this past school year.

Sophia Rutledge was the recipient of the Wasmund Memorial Scholarship, worth $28,000 over four years, for demonstrating academic achievement, initiative, and financial need.
