OPP Finds Loaded Firearm During RIDE Check

Renfrew OPP have laid multiple charges after a RIDE check led to firearms being found.

OPP says a man refused to do sobriety tests and was arrested last week on Highway 132 near Riverview Drive in Admaston Bromley.

Police say they conducted an on-site investigation following the arrest, and found a loaded firearm and drugs.

A 27-year-old Renfrew man is facing 13 charges including carrying a concealed weapon, refusing to provide a breath sample, and possession of a loaded prohibited weapon.
