Madawaska Valley Township is exploring options for a new legal service to handle planning and property rights for the township.
The township has been working with SJB and Radcliffe since before 2000, but the woman that has dealt with township matters since then is retiring next spring.
CAO Doug Robertson has been searching for a new law firm since they township received the news, and has suggested Huckabone O’Brien Instance Bradley Lyle in Pembroke as a possibility. Robertson states that their proximity to the Renfrew County as a huge asset, as well as their track record.

Township is going to organize a representative from the firm to come and meet with the committee.
