The Madawaska Valley Falcons Junior Hockey Team have hired their first ever head coach.
The man taking the position is former NHL Goaltender Norm Maracle.
The 42-year-old spent time in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers, and played his junior hockey in Saskatoon for the Blades.

Maracle will take the reins of the club, who is set to take to the ice for their first ever game on September 25th against the Smith Falls Settlers. The Falcons first ever game in Barry’s Bay will be on September 30th against the Coburg Galaxy.
