Police have charged a man following a suspicious person call in Arnprior.
Last Wednesday, Renfrew OPP responded to a call about a suspicious man with a firearm. Upon arrival at the scene of the call, police found a man sitting in a car with a long gun.
Police detained the man and seized the weapon, which was a pellet gun. Officials say the man claimed he was trying to deal with nuisance rodents on his property.

A 57-year-old Stittsville man was charged for having a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
