After an RCMP Constable was killed roadside on Tuesday, the OPP are reminding residents it’s the law to move over if you see emergency vehicles on the side of the road.
OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel says fines for not moving over can be hefty.
Yarmel also says this law was made to heighten safety on the road.

According to the OPP, about 400 charges were laid over the August long-weekend earlier this summer to drivers who failed to move over for stopped emergency vehicles.
