Police remind you to be patient during long weekend driving

With Canada Day long weekend coming up fast, be prepared for lots of traffic. It’s important to stay patient and plan ahead.

There will be a Provincial-wide Canada Day long weekend traffic campaign. OPP Constable Phillippe Regamey says that by preparing ahead of time when driving this weekend you’ll set yourself up for success.

Regamey adds that everything will be busier because of tourists coming in this weekend. He says to take your time if you’re going out, drive safely and to make sure you stay calm, cool and collected.
