Madawaska Valley and Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan residents will have a chance to dispose of any unwanted hazardous waste this Saturday.
The waste day is an opportunity to throw out items that you wouldn’t be able to get rid of during curbside pickup. Some of the items that are accepted at the waste day include automotive parts, cleaning products, paint, pesticides, propane tanks and batteries.
While lots will be accepted, there is still items that cannot be thrown out during household hazardous waste day including old electronics, tires, fireworks, ammunition and radioactive materials.
The drop off is from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Madawaska Valley Municipal Garage Yard 2 on Combermere Road in Combermere. Residents from both Madawaska Valley and Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan will be the only people allowed to drop hazardous items off.
