The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says it has two forest fires in Carlow-Mayo under control.
The MNRF says the first fire was started Wednesday around 3:00pm near Reber Road just east of Papineau Creek and is 0.1 hectares in size. The second fire was started last night around 10:00pm near the intersection of Boulter Road and Burgess Road. The MNRF says a cause of the blaze hasn’t been determined yet while it’s being controlled at about 0.2 hectares.
