Killaloe OPP is investigating a collision that closed Highway 60 in Algonquin Park.
According to police, officers responded to a head-on collision Wednesday afternoon just after 3:00pm. After arriving on scene, it was determined that a tractor trailer and a car has hit one another. As a result, the highway was closed in both directions because of an oil spill.
Police say the driver of the car, an 82-year-old Ottawa woman, has been charged with careless driving. Both drivers had minor injuries from the crash.
