A pair of friends will be splitting a quarter-million dollars after winning the lottery in Renfrew County.
Lorrie Dombroskie from Barry’s Bay and Gerald Smaglinskie from Killaloe have been friends for 20 years and usually buy instant lottery tickets together.
With the winnings, Dombroskie says she plans on investing some of her winnings while buying a new car and paying off her mortgage. As for Smaglinskie, he says he’s taking a vacation with his part of the winnings.
OLG says the winning ticket was sold at the Esso on Highway 60 in Wilno.
