Catch Ace moves into Week 14 with jackpot still at play

The ace of spades is still up for grabs in the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery program.

Week 13 winner Colette Szalay took home a prize of $876 dollars. Over the holidays, Bernadette Dudack was announced as the Week 12 winner. She won just over $1,000. 

In both cases, when the winner flipped over a card, the ace of spades did not turn up, so the lottery continues.

The Week 14 prize is estimated at just under $1,000 and if the ace of spades turns up the winner will receive a jackpot of more than 18 grand. 

Five-dollar tickets for the lottery are being sold at several Madawaska Valley-area stores, with proceeds benefiting local health care needs.
