MPP Reinforcing Importance of Applying Early to Disaster Recovery Program

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says it’s important you apply to the provincial Disaster Recovery Assistance Program if you’ve been affected by flooding.

He says keeping detailed records of spending and damages will be key.

Yakabuski says the wait for reimbursement will vary but the sooner you can complete an application, the better.

The program can be accessed through the provincial website, Yakabuski says his office is also at your disposal should you need assistance with the application.

Water levels in many areas across Renfrew County could take weeks to recede.
