Killaloe OPP urging drivers to be cautious in rural areas

The Killaloe OPP says recent collisions involving motorcycles and wildlife is again prompting it to remind drivers to be vigilant on rural roads.

A little more than half of all collisions recorded by both the Whitney and Killaloe detachments have involved animals on the road since January of this year.

Constable Catharine Yarmel says summer traffic also poses and increased risk for drivers and motorcycle riders.

She says speed remains the culprit in most collisions.
