Environment Canada has issued a tornado watch for Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Renfrew, Arnrior, Cobden, Calabogie, Pembroke, and Petawawa.
Environment Canada says the main threats with these thunderstorms are large hail, damaging wind gusts and torrential downpours.
Environment Canada says atmospheric conditions are also favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce isolated tornadoes.
