MPP Yakabuski Supports Highway 417 Extension To Renfrew

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski has spoken out regarding Highway 17 expansion in Renfrew.

Last week, concerns were raised that if the provincial government changes hands, the plans to expand Highway 17 may be changed.

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says that he is aware that the highway needs work, and is completely behind the idea.

Yakabuski also says that Arnprior is a great example of how much a highway expansion can help a town.

The highway’s expansion has moved into the designing phase, and would extend the 417 through the Town of Renfrew, increasing it from two lanes to four.
