Letter To Mayor Requesting Porta-Potties at Combermere and Barry’s Bay Boat Launches

A letter has been sent to Mayor Kim Love requesting that porta-potties be installed at boat launches in Barry’s Bay and Combermere.

The letter states that porta-potties at the boat launches would be well used, and waterfront owners on Kamaniskeg Lake would appreciate people using these.

The letter also cites that Hastings Highlands has porta-potties at Hinterland Beach, and that other tourist destinations like Golden Lake and Round Lake have them as well.

Councillor Ernie Peplinski voiced concern that there isn’t much space at the boat launch in Combermere for these, but Barry’s Bay has lots of space.

The issue will be taken to a budget meeting.
